The ps2 isn't a bad system. It has second most capabilities to Xbox and it has the best selection of games. Xbox is growing bigger than the ps2 but the ps2 is still winning the console war

You had it right the first time!
By the way, where's the Neo-Geo forum?
I've found more replay value in many single Neo-Geo releases than I did in a dozen PS1 or PS2 titles. Any Sega system/software combo (after SMS and excluding CD and 32X) also has replay value superior to PS1 or PS2, at least when related to my taste in games. Sony has brought more people into gaming, but they have also ruined gaming as we knew it. It's no longer any fun.
Let me put it this way; I've owned the PS twice and the PS2 once. If I was playing the Sony systems and had to make a trip to the bathroom or refrigerator, I would not hesitate to get up and go. When I'd return, I'd most likely just shut off the Sony system and find something more exciting to do, like going to the bathroom or refrigerator again. In contrast, there have been many times when playing a Sega title like Daytona when I'd put off a needed trip to the bathroom or refrigerator for much longer than I should have because I couldn't put the controller down. When I'd return, I'd continue playing the Sega game. This is called the bathroom factor; if you can put the controller down at the first sign of nature calling, you're not playing a very good game. In contrast, if three hours later, your side is splitting or you're starving, but the controller is still stuck in your hands, you're playing a damned good game, and probably a classic one from AM2 or Ancient.
